Baby photo of Ellie

Before we left the orphanage for the last time, we asked the Director if she had any photos of Ellie. This was all she had. How precious it is and will be even more so as the years go by!
(We estimate it was taken when she was admitted to the orphanage as a 2-month-old, or perhaps earlier?)

Hey Sarah,
We shoot with a Canon Digital Rebel. We've had it for over 3 years (bought it when they first came out) and have been very happy with it, having shot well over 20,000 images in all kinds of environments (it's pretty tough, never had to be repaired). If you shoot a lot of indoor shots, you'll want to buy a flash attachment as indoor images shot with the on-camera flash look pretty average (outdoor shots are great, though). Nathan can give you more specs on lenses. My other piece of advice: learn Photoshop! ;-)

Nathan and Cydil, hi. We loved the "baby picture". The beach scene with Ellie's name inscribed is priceless. I cannot remember if I told you, but Uncle Jack made 4 prints of your "family portrait"--the picture of the 3 of you as you are leaving the orphange. I found your comments to Sarah about Matilda and the little boy very interesting. Be assured of our love and continued prayers. God has worked so many miracles for Ellie. He will continue to do so!!! Love and prayers, Uncle Jack and Aunt Ruth P.S. The pictures are for Nathan's folks, my parents, Aunt Elaine and one for us.
