We were approved by the judge today! I won’t say it wasn’t a bit initimidating at times, and he wouldn’t grant permission to settle the adoption in one court hearing, but agreed to hold the 2nd hearing on Monday. Nathan was able to change his departure ticket and will get back to KY on Tuesday evening.
Thank you SO much for your prayers and encouraging e-mails. We had some discouraging moments in the last 24 hours but it’s good to know that the 15-day waiting period will begin sooner rather than later (of course we would prefer it begin today)!
We will write more later… we have a ride waiting to return us to Tirana…
