Checking In

Hi everyone,
Nathan and David Reni arrived in Kentucky safely EARLY this morning after several delays to their last flight. It was a very short night of sleep but Reni was up so we drove into Lexington to have breakfast with Nathan's parents this morning who came down to be part of the welcoming party. Our friends Wes and Nina took some fantastic photos to document Nathan and David Reni's homecoming and I can't wait to share them with you. However, I'm operating on three hours of sleep and about to nod off on the keyboard. All of this to say, check back later this afternoon from some pictures that should be worth the wait. Thanks for your understanding. We love you all.

I am so happy that you are all together. I really hope that Nathan got a good nights skeep!!!! After all that travel he earned his skeep!! I couldn't help but laugh when he tweeted that. It's not like he was up for a million hours or anything. Praise Jesus for the end of one part of your journey and the beginning of the next.

Blessings and many good nights of skeep to come.

love,
laurie

Look forward to seeing the photos - so glad they are all home safe and sound despite the flight delays. I love Melissa's comment about "another child home with his forever family" - I am so glad God chose you as David Reni's forever family - thank you Father.

What a homecoming it was!! We were more thqn happy to drive to Lexington to be a part of the homecoming welcome group. It's an event we will never forget!! Reni is just as cute and loving as his pictures. We all took turns holding him!! Love and Prayers, Uncle Jack and Aunt Ruth

After hugs and kisses to her Daddy, Ellie said, "Dad can I use your ipod") (She's 5 years old and her Aunt Ruth wouldn't even know how to turn the ipod on--let alone use it!)
